As a perinatal mental health specialist and art therapist, I believe that everyone deserves to be heard, treated with compassion, and have a space where they feel safe

and comfortable. I view therapy as a collaborative process; where together we look at the challenges impacting you or your relationships. Together, I will support your development of new strategies that fit your values and ways of feeling more fulfilled in your relationships and life. I'm trained in art therapy, EMDR, and traditional talk therapy. We can use a combination or just one of these modalities to help you reach your desired goals.

ABOUT ME

About Me

My name is Catherine Jones and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Art Therapist (LAT), Registered Art therapist (ATR), and Perinatal Mental Health Specialist (PMH-C), and Registered Yoga Therapist (RYT 200), practicing therapy since 2009. I believe in the powerful healing function of therapeutic relationship and I strive to create a trusting relationship with you.

My therapeutic style is compassionate, relational and warm. I will integrate evidence based therapies such as EMDR, interpersonal and attachment theories, mindfulness, art therapy and cognitive behavioral practices to help you reach your desired goals.

I specialize in Reproductive mental health, which means supporting individuals across the reproductive continuum. This includes family planning, pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, birth trauma, infant loss, and miscarriage. As well as helping individuals adjust to parenthood as new challenges can occur when expanding your family.

If you are currently pregnant or a parent who is feeling sad, isolated, angry, constantly worried, fatigued, scared, and/or trouble sleeping, you are not alone. Therapeutic services as well as connecting with supports greatly increases hope and can alleviate stresses.

I'm LGBTQA+ affirming provider and respect diversity in my practice. All cultures, races, abilities, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities are welcome.
